On The Occasion Of International Women’s Day #IWD2020
Mark Twain was once asked – “What would men be without women?” “Scarce, sir…mighty scarce.”, he replied. And rightly so. If women didn’t exist, neither would men. Women today excel in every field and the modern women is strong and confident. As we celebrate International Women’s Day 2020 #IWD2020, I would like to take this opportunity to pay a tribute to them in the form of this video that I have put together.
Gone are the days when women were considered inferior to men. And those who still think so, need to take a reality check. Time and again, women have firmly established the fact that not only are they not inferior to men, they are indeed superior in many ways. Today’s woman is a strong woman who doesn’t need to prove her credentials to anyone.
Women are achievers in every field today. Glass ceilings are being shattered everywhere every single day, and women are making great strides in all spheres – even in fields or professions that were once considered to be the domains of men.
From space technology and rocket science to sports, women are getting way ahead in the race. Even in the armed forces, they are now gaining ground steadily and making sure that they are given their due. The day is not far where even the fighting arms will have women leading the way – it has already started happened in some parts of the world and will happen in India as well. We have already opened the doors to women fighter pilots now. Many women make made global headlines today for their achievements as a matter of routine. Women achievers continue to make humanity proud across the globe.
And so, on the International Women’s Day 2020, here is a very special post dedicated to all the wonderful, strong women out there, in the form of a video.
